Extremely beautiful Jumbo-pots!
These plants have been cultivated in our nursery for more than 10 weeks and that makes them beautiful!
How can you use the plants in the aquarium?
- For fish it seems to be the best to remove the rock wool. (In practice Bert does not do that. Although it needs to be said that we have only very beautiful guppies and shrimps.)
- Personally I would try to keep the pot as a whole. If you really insist you could remove the rock wool and than reconnect the stems with a piece of rope into the pot. Keeping the stems together helps you to maintain the hugh massive look!
- Of course you can also split the plant into many separate pieces. When you subsequently plant every stem apart from each other, than you will have a big surface! Very efficient to make a green background within no time!
- Whatever you do with the plant we advise to rinse it with running water.
Especially if you have sensitive species living in you aquarium, such as certain kinds of shrimp, we recommend to always rinse the plants thoroughly and to remove the rock wool. It is ideal to put the plant, once it is clean, into a tank with clean water for 12 hours.
How to plant them:
Plant them with tweezers or with your hands in small groups of two or three stems. Leave 2-3cm space between the groups. Put long, thick stems at the background and small, thin stems in the front of the aquarium.
